Completion Ceremony at MDH

As a student reading your final semester at MDH you are invited to the Completion Ceremony on 13 or alternatively 14 June 2018. The date and time you are invited to depend on the School. The Ceremony is the University’s expression of thanks to you for your period of study.


Date: 13 June 2018
Time: 10.00 The School of Business, Society and Engineering. The ceremony is held in Swedish.
Time: 13.30 eremony for all our international programmes. The ceremony is held in English.

Date: 14 June 2018
Time: 10.00 The School of Health, Care and Social Welfare. The ceremony is held in Swedish.
Time: 13.30 The School of Innovation, Design and Engineering; the School of Education, Culture and Communication. The ceremony is held in Swedish.

Last day to register is 25 May 2018.

The Completion Ceremony is arranged after every spring and autumn semester. You are to attend the Ceremony which is appropriate to your School and education. At the Ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Paul Pettersson and the appropriate Dean of School will give speeches. Students from the Chamber Music programme will perform and there will be speeches given by MDH alumni.

You may take part even if you still have complementary work to do in your studies and regardless of whether you have read a programme or corresponding freestanding courses. 

On this day you are cordially invited to celebrate with your relatives and you may invite up to three named guests. After the ceremony you will be treated to coffee with gluten free and lactose free cake.

The Completion Ceremony is not connected to your degree. You yourself must apply for a degree certificate via the Student Portal.
