Successful research in the field of energy

Oct 12, 2015 | Research/Cooperation

Recently Jinyue Yan, Professor of Energy Engineering at Mälardalen University, co-authored with other outstanding scientists was informed that their paper had been scheduled for Advance Online Publication (AOP) in Nature Climate Change.

Nature Climate Change, one of Nature specialized journals, is a monthly journal dedicated to publishing the most significant and cutting-edge research on the science of climate change, its impacts and wider implications for the economy, society and policy. Nature Climate Change publishes original research across the physical and social sciences and strives to synthesize interdisciplinary research.

 –  The fact that our paper ”Targeted opportunities to address the climate-trade dilemma in China” was published on Nature Change is very good news! It is recognition of our research by a top prestige journal, says Jinyue Yan.

This research involves many scientists from all over the world with cross disciplinary fields.

– It shows the importance of international cooperation and team work for our research of excellence.

The paper shows interesting results how the flow of CO2 embedded in exports and import in the international trade, which is new and valuable for addressing the future climate change issues.

Research specialisations: Future Energy Center

The challenges due to the energy related emissions, increased energy demand and the fragile state of the global economy calls for rethinking global energy systems. Therefore, the research within the Future Energy Center focuses on renewable energy, energy efficiency and emission mitigation, as well as smarter modelling, optimization and management.

–      Many interesting studies are on-going which can further result in more interesting achievements in the near future, says Jinyue Yan.
