Represent Mälardalen University and become a Global Swede
Jan 17, 2014 | Student
Each year Mälardalen University nominates an international student as Global Swede. The Global Swede will function as a link between Sweden and his or her home country, and will hopefully become an important connection for Swedish trade and industry in the future. The nominated student will be invited to a ceremony in Stockholm to receive the Global Swede diploma in May 2014 together with Global Swedes from other universities.
Apply by writing a letter that describes why you should become our Global Swede. In your letter, describe how you fulfill the following requirements:
- In the final year of your study programme at Mälardalen University
- Citizen in a country outside EU/EES
- Good academic results
- Skills in innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship within your field of study
- Ability to function as an outgoing, motivated and engaged ambassador for Mälardalen University and for Sweden
The Global Swede nominated by Mälardalen University is expected to represent the university in student recruiting activities when possible, and also to register as a Mälardalen University alumni.
Please send your application to firstname.lastname@example.org by 28 February 2014.
The applications will be assessed by the Committee for International Activities. The nomination will be made public in the end of March 2014.
