Studying a period abroad is a great opportunity for you as a student to increase your understanding of other countries' cultures and languages while trying a new academic environment. As a student at MDH, there are opportunities to study abroad during one semester within your study programme.
The application for exchange studies takes place once a year, from mid December to the end of January for the coming academic year. At the end of each spring semester there is also a call for rest places for the coming spring semester. Your school can help you with most information regarding studying abroad. They can answer general questions about exchange studies but are also experts when it comes to the academic part of your exchange studies, such as course selection and transfer of credits. There are also information meetings where you can meet other students who have already studied abroad and who can tell about their experiences.
Where can I go?
MDH has about 120 partner universities around the world where you can go as a student, depending on your area of study. There are both exchange agreements that are specific for each school at MDH but also central agreements where all students at MDH can apply for an exchange place. To see which universities MDH has an agreement with, click on the link below. When the application for exchange studies opens in mid December, the map in the link below will look different. This is because exchanges places can differ between the academic years, depending on how many students the partner universities can receive.
