The coproduction project Remowe (Regional Mobilizing of Sustainable Waste-to-Energy Production, during December 2009 to December 2012) aimed to contribute to a reduction of carbon dioxide emissions by catalysing utilisation of waste from cities, farming and industry for energy purposes (electricity, heat, fuels) in an efficient way in the Baltic Sea region.

Project partners from Sweden, Finland, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia and Germany represent both far developed regions in the field as well as regions in which the level of energy utilisation of waste is currently low. E.g. Germany possesses valuable experiences of producing biogas which were shared and transferred through the project to other regions.

Remowe produced a diverse collection of publications which are available from the Downloads  section.

Please see About the project for further information about Remowe.
